Hi, I’m Katie — travel-obsessed and here to help you enjoy every second of every trip.
I’ve been in the travel industry for more than 20 years, and I understand how planning a vacation can sometimes feel more stressful than exciting. My goal is to make it feel easy and exciting again — whether you’re dreaming of a romantic escape, a family adventure, or a milestone celebration.
Before starting Mae Claire Travel, I spent nearly two decades in hotel hospitality and event planning, coordinating everything from destination weddings and family getaways to large-scale corporate events like the MLB All-Star Game, Super Bowl 2018, and NCAA 2019. That experience taught me how to create seamless, memorable trips for every kind of traveler.
Mae Claire Travel is named after my daughters, Eleanor Mae and Lydia Claire, who inspire me daily and remind me that the best memories come from shared experiences.
Some of my favorite travel memories include exploring the wonders of Alaska with my kids, relaxing in St. Lucia with my husband, playing on the beach in Turks and Caicos with my family, exploring the rich culture of Ireland with my dad and his siblings, and walking around the Christmas Markets (by myself!) while in Paris.

Hi, I’m Mika — Family-focused and here to make your next adventure effortless and unforgettable.
As a parent who prioritizes family travel, I know how special it is to create moments that bring everyone together. That’s why I feel so aligned with Mae Claire Travel’s mission to design meaningful, memorable vacations for families.
From camping trips as a kid to cruising the open seas with my own family, travel has always been a part of my story. I love the ease, adventure, and endless possibilities that come with exploring new destinations — and I’m here to help other families experience that same joy.
Some of my favorite trips have taken me to Thailand, Peru, British Columbia, and New York City during the holidays. Next on my list? Greece, the Maldives, the Netherlands, Iceland, and cruises through the Mediterranean and Panama Canal.

Pay the Travel Design Fee & Get on the Calendar!
The Travel Design Fee to ensure each itinerary is thoughtfully crafted with the time, expertise, and attention it deserves. This fee allows me to provide personalized recommendations, thorough research, and seamless planning from start to finish.

Now for the fun part. I’ll put together a custom itinerary that fits your needs and budget with as many memory-making experiences I can fit in.

You’ll get final approval, and I’ll manage the booking!
